What is 'tech for good'
Tech For Good are individuals, companies, organisations, projects, and groups that aim to deliver a positive impact on the world around us through the use of technologies.
Freedoms, rights and democracy
We respect our history, laws, constitution, civil liberties, human rights and representative democracy which over 70 million UK citizens all share in common. We also respect those peoples and nations around the world that share these same values.
They include every person's right to conscience (including political conscience) and the right of free speech within the law. Libel, Extremism, Incitement to Hatred, Cyber Bullying and Gas Lighting can all have serious legal, criminal and human consequences and are not welcome on this website.
Legal, decent, honest and truthful
Please be kind, courteous and respectful of other people's opinions. Be legal, decent, honest and truthful. We acknowledge the rights and wrongs in history, and recognise that there are two and more versions to every story. But, we do not endorse fake news, propaganda, or biased and selective narratives that would seek to undermine or destroy our personal freedoms, choices and way of life.
Instead, we encourage acceptance, diversity, equality and community cohesion through collaboration, moderated discussion and debate; and by championing use of technology to support good causes, benefit society and humanity; and make the world a better place for everyone.
