Future Skills Academy is proud to support the Shepley Hub and Shepley Library by hosting Employer Ambassador Training for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Apprenticeships.

Further details of workshops will follow shortly.

The programme has an ambitious target of training 50 ambassadors across West Yorkshire over the next few months to provide schools and colleges with employer led engagement. The scheme promotes the STEM agenda (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and encourages young people to consider the skills required in the world of work. The Employers supporting this exciting initiative along with their employed apprentices are keen to ensure young people make informed decisions about their option post-16 and post-18. Training Managers and HR Executives welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively with Future Skills Academy to improve knowledge, skills and competencies in their industry.

Shepley library is an excellent local facility to host training and act as a Community Enterprise Hub for the HD8 area.
