Shepley has recently been the epicentre for an important study looking at the opportunities and benefits of the rural digital economy. Launched at Shepley First School in September 2014, the European Commission-funded DigiChampz initiative has now set out a blueprint for rural digital economies across Europe.

The Shepley Digital Village website is now working towards implementing many of the DigiChampz recommendations.

Here you can find all the information you need about living, working and doing business in Shepley and the surrounding area. Or you may be simply visiting us.

But that’s not all.

We have designed this website with you in mind. It empowers you to discuss, debate, and give your opinion on any issue or concern that matters to you and which you feel others should know about. We’ve added some clever social media and networking tools which allow you to share information, publicise your events, and tell us about the social groups you are running.

Like Facebook, you can make friends online, send email and even chat with each other.

Don’t be shy – come say ‘hi’!

To get involved all you need to do is register online. It’s that simple! We’ve got lots to show you and we’d love your opinion.
